Binge Eating Support Group
For when you’re tired of feeling out of control around food—and tired of trying to fix it on your own.
6-Week Virtual Group | Monday Evenings | 6:00 PM
October 12 – November 16
50-minute sessions | Limited to 8 participants
Binge eating can leave you feeling disconnected from your body, frustrated with yourself, and stuck in the same cycle: restricting, overeating, promising to “do better,” and starting over again.
This group offers a place to slow that cycle down. Together, we’ll look at what’s actually happening—not just what you’re eating, but the emotions, rules, stress, and patterns that may be keeping binge eating going.
What to Expect in our binge eating support group
Each 50-minute session will include:
Education + Practical Tools
We’ll talk about the binge-restrict cycle, food rules, emotional eating, triggers, urges, and the ways restriction can make binge eating more likely. You’ll leave with strategies you can begin using between sessions—not another list of foods to avoid.
Open Process + Discussion
You’ll have space to talk honestly about what’s been difficult, ask questions, and hear from others who understand the experience. Participation is encouraged, but you’ll never be pressured to share before you’re ready.
Shared Resources + Group Chat
Throughout the six weeks, you’ll have access to a shared drive with educational materials, practical exercises, and helpful resources to support your work between sessions. You’ll also be invited to a private group chat where participants can stay connected, share encouragement, and access ongoing support throughout the program.

Week 3: Physical vs. Emotional Hunger Cues
Learn to recognize physical hunger, emotional hunger, cravings, fullness, and the different needs that can influence eating.
Week 4: Mindful Eating
Practice slowing down, increasing awareness, and reconnecting with your body’s hunger, fullness, and satisfaction cues without judgment.
Week 5: Navigating Difficult Emotions & Eating Patterns
Develop practical coping strategies for urges, stress, emotional discomfort, food-related thoughts, and situations that may contribute to binge eating.
Week 6: Moving Forward
Reflect on progress, identify helpful tools and ongoing challenges, and create a supportive plan for continuing your work beyond the group.
Led by Paige McDaniel, MS, RD, LD, CEDS
Paige has extensive experience supporting individuals with eating disorders and understands that binge eating is not a lack of willpower. Her approach is practical, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based eating disorder care.
This is not a diet group, a weight-loss program, or a large virtual class. It’s a small, confidential space to be honest about what’s happening and begin making changes with support.
Why such a Small Group?
With only 8 participants, there’s room for real conversation—not just listening to a presentation. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions, connect with others, and receive support that reflects your actual experiences.
You don’t need to arrive with a perfect plan. You don’t need to prove that your struggle is serious enough. You can start exactly where you are.
