Individualized Nutrition Counseling in Dallas
Nutrition Care Designed Around You
Nutrition advice is everywhere. Figuring out what actually makes sense for your body, your health, and your life can be much more complicated.
At Dallas Nutritional Counseling, our registered dietitians provide individualized nutrition counseling for adolescents and adults with a variety of nutrition and health concerns. Rather than applying a standard plan or set of rules, we take the time to understand the bigger picture—including your health history, relationship with food, lifestyle, preferences, challenges, and goals.
Together, we develop realistic nutrition strategies that are designed to work in your actual life.

Nutrition Is Rarely One-Size-Fits-All
Knowing what someone “should” do nutritionally and figuring out how to make it work in their life are two very different things. We look beyond a diagnosis or list of nutrition recommendations to understand the factors that may affect your ability to follow through.
Your work schedule, activity level, food preferences, budget, cooking skills, family responsibilities, medical conditions, gastrointestinal symptoms, mental health, neurodivergence, and relationship with food can all influence what is realistic and appropriate for you. Our goal isn't to hand you a perfect nutrition plan. It's to help you develop an approach to nutrition that supports your health and is sustainable in your life.
A Collaborative, Non-Diet Approach
Our dietitians practice from a weight-inclusive, non-diet perspective. We focus on behaviors, nutrition, health, and your individual needs rather than making weight loss the measure of success.
Depending on your goals, our work together may include nutrition education, meal planning, practical problem-solving, identifying patterns, developing new skills, increasing flexibility around food, or finding ways to better support your nutritional needs.
You are an active participant in the process. We'll bring our nutrition expertise, ask questions, help you make connections, and work with you to develop strategies that make sense for you.
Do I Need Ongoing Nutrition Counseling?
Some concerns benefit from consistent follow-up over time.
Ongoing nutrition counseling may be a good fit if you're managing a more complex nutrition or medical concern, need continued support implementing recommendations, or want regular appointments with a dietitian as you work toward longer-term goals.
If you're looking for help with one specific nutrition question or would prefer a shorter-term option, you may not need ongoing counseling.
Looking for Short-Term Nutrition Support?
Our Individual Nutrition Support options include a one-time nutrition session and a flexible four-session package for concerns that don't require regularly scheduled ongoing care. These can be a good fit for concerns such as meal planning, fueling for exercise, vegetarian or vegan nutrition, food allergies, or navigating a new nutrition concern.
Eating Disorder or Disordered Eating Concerns?
Eating disorders and disordered eating require specialized nutrition care.
Our eating disorder dietitians provide individualized support for anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, ARFID, OSFED, restrictive eating, compulsive exercise, and other concerns related to food, eating, and body image.
