Congratulations Lauren Heidenreich RD, LD, CEDS on earning her Certified Eating Disorder Specialist credential through iaedp (the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals).

We are so proud of all the hard work and dedication Lauren has put into earning this certification. For those who do not know, the Certified Eating Disorder Specialist credential requires at least 2 years of work experience in the eating disorder field including at least 2500 supervised hours, the completion of four eating disorder specific courses, over 24 hours of supervision from a CEDS supervisor in your licensure, and the passing of a certification exam.

Lauren is currently accepting new patients and can provide in-person or Telehealth appointments. She also has Saturday appointments available. Lauren specializes in eating disorders, ARFID, gastrointestinal diseases and concerns, and women’s health. Eating disorders impact the entire family system, and while so much of the treatment process is focused on the client, the caregivers tend to struggle at home with minimal support. Join Dallas Nutritional Counseling for a two-hour parent workshop, where we will bridge the gap between what the client needs and what the family needs. In this workshop you will gain a deeper understanding of the vital role you play in the recovery process, connect with other families going through the recovery process, and feel more confident in supporting your loved one. We will also be joined by Hila Eyal whose daughter struggled with an eating disorder and now is in recovery. Hila will share their family story of how they navigated the recovery process at the beginning, in the middle, and now ongoing.
