Meet CEO & Founder of Dallas Nutritional Counseling - Casey bonano Rd, ld, ceds-C
Casey has over a twelve years of experience in the eating disorder field including residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient levels of care. She then went on to establish her own private practice and has been serving the Dallas eating disorder community ever since. This past February Dallas Nutritional Counseling celebrated their 10th anniversary.
Casey Bonano RD, LD, CEDS-C - Registered Dietitian & Eating Disorder Specialist
Casey specializes in treating clients ages sixteen and up struggling with eating disorders, disordered eating, and chronic dieting. She uses an Intuitive Eating, Health at Every Size, and trauma informed approach.
Casey has earned her Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) credential through the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (iaedp), which requires over 2000 hours of supervised practice, course work, and passing a written exam. She then went on to earn her Supervisor (CEDS-C) credential, which allows her to supervise dietitians earning their CEDS certification.

Casey is a member of IFEDD (the International Federation of Eating Disorder Dietitians) and previously served as the DFW Member Liaison. Casey is also heavily involved in the local iaedp (International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals) chapter. Casey served as Membership Chair for four years, President for two years, and Past President for two years. She has also served as the Chair for the Fall Fundraiser committee for two years and was a member of the workshop committee several years. Casey is currently an active member of the chapter.
Casey has been invited to speak and present to many well known and respected businesses in the community such as KTXA Channel 21 News, UT Southwestern, Mesa Springs Behavioral Health and consistently guest lectures for the Nutrition Department at Texas Christian University. Casey has been featured in Instyle Magazine, SheKnows, and Medical Daily.
Casey has successfully sourced, negotiated and secured several contracts providing dietitian services in the community. Most recently Dallas Nutritional Counseling became partners with a local substance use and mental health facility providing nutrition assessments to their clients. We also recently partnered with a local eating disorder facility to create and implement an enteral nutrition program.
