Why You Need to eat Lunch Everyday
Just because skipping lunch is normalized doesn’t mean it’s healthy or good for you mentally. Yeah a lot of people do it, but that doesn’t mean it’s the right choice for you.
Hustle culture is real and toxic. Did you know that nourishing yourself actually allows you to be more productive? If you are hungry, you are actually less efficient with your time. Brain fog and/or trouble concentrating is a sign of hunger.
Tips for setting aside time for lunch…
Block your calendar everyday for lunch
Schedule lunch into your day
Set an alarm on your phone
Make a plan/know what you are doing for lunch ahead of time
Make plans with a friend or coworker
Busy schedules definitely make it more challenging to feed ourselves, but being busy is not an excuse to skip out on taking care of yourself. Make time for yourself during your day.

Why You Need to Eat Lunch Everyday - Dallas Nutritional Counseling, Advice from a Registered Dietitian and eating disorder expert.
Eating disorders impact the entire family system, and while so much of the treatment process is focused on the client, the caregivers tend to struggle at home with minimal support. Join Dallas Nutritional Counseling for a two-hour parent workshop, where we will bridge the gap between what the client needs and what the family needs. In this workshop you will gain a deeper understanding of the vital role you play in the recovery process, connect with other families going through the recovery process, and feel more confident in supporting your loved one. We will also be joined by Hila Eyal whose daughter struggled with an eating disorder and now is in recovery. Hila will share their family story of how they navigated the recovery process at the beginning, in the middle, and now ongoing.
