"I wish I could explain just how big of an impact Casey has made on my life- I couldn't have asked for anyone better to guide me through this recovery process. She's helped free my negative thoughts about food and body image that consumed me for too long. It's rare to find somebody who invests in her patients as much as she does...Casey is absolutely amazing and I would recommend her to anybody wanting to normalize their relationship with food!"  - Fort Worth, Texas
Casey is absolutely amazing and incredibly sweet. She helped me save my life and I could never be more thankful for her being there when I needed her the most. No matter what your issue is, Casey has the determination and nutritional knowledge to guide you to having a healthier relationship with yourself and your body. - South Texas
"I thought I knew everything about food, what was good for you, what wasn't, what worked for my body and what didn't. But all of a sudden what had been working for me the last couple of years, didn't work anymore and I was going out of my mind doing internet research, taking advice from others, listening to the voices in my head, and I can't forget, there was Facebook always flaunting the newest fad diet, well, it was all driving me to my wit's end! When I arrived at my first meeting with Casey I was over this dysfunctional relationship I had with food. And I didn't know quite as much as I thought I did. I was exhausted, spent, and burned out. Desperate for guidance and direction and angry about needing guidance and direction. I not only wanted someone that was educated, but someone that knew from their own experiences what they were talking about to guide me along this path, but I also wanted someone that mirrored what they would be teaching me. Casey has helped to change my way of thinking, she helps me with my emotions, and self image and brings to light the connection these things have in relation to food, because it's one of the hardest things I have to do daily, but knowing she is there, non judgmental, ready, willing and able to assist in my journey, well, it makes a huge difference for me. I will always be grateful to Casey for what I have learned, for her time and patience, and that little voice of hers that is inside my head, reminding me of the things I need to remember. This was the best investment that I have ever made for me." - Dallas, Texas
Casey has been my dietician over the past few years and I can’t imagine going through recovery without her.  Casey is incredibly talented and has invested in my life tremendously over the years. She has never stopped believing in me even when I have doubted my own abilities. Casey is a sweetheart but definitely knows when I need some tough love. Through the lowest of lows, she’s helped me work through the crazy fears of food and body image issues that consumed my life.  Casey is an amazing role model for what healthy eating looks like & I would highly recommend her to anyone! - Southlake, Texas
For the past few weeks, I have been trying to figure out how to put into words what Casey means to me. Some people seek a dietitian because they have trouble with their weight, some because they simply do not have a healthy relationship with food, and others because they have gotten caught up in the dieting industry. However no matter the reason the person is facing a real struggle, and I can guarantee that Casey will see each client as if they were her only client. How do I know this? Because I can attest to it personally. While there are many reasons besides eating disorders to see a dietitian, anorexia brought me into the presence of Casey, whom I consider to be a God Send. From the very beginning, Casey fought for me when I was unable to fight for myself. Above all, she stuck with me and guided my misinformed brain, despite moments of stubbornness and fear. I have worked with dietitians in the past, but never encountered someone as genuine as Casey. Her desire to help is so clear that I was able to express all of my concerns openly, especially my fear that I didn't need to gain weight and that food would make me fat. Anyone that knows me can attest to the fact that I do not share my inner thoughts with just anyone; that person must first gain my trust, which does not always come easily. However, Casey's visible concern for my mental and physical health overruled any stipulations for trust I may have had. How could I not trust this person who encouraged me to get help, who waited and stood by until I was ready? I know you might be thinking ?this is all nice, but I don't have any eating disorder, so what does this have to do with me?" Well, let me tell you, it has EVERYTHING to do with you. A food struggle is a food struggle, and Casey has truly helped me find the person I always was, the person I am meant to be. Casey is one of those rare people whose wisdom will stick in your brain long after you've seen her, and I am LIVING proof of that. Casey taught me that it does get better, and that is now something I am starting to believe for myself. I love having ?healthy, hair, skin, and nails," ya know, so if I spend a day eating a turkey burger with cheese and fries, a chicken quesadilla, and chocolate cake with ice cream, then so be it 'cuz it sure beats starving. I have pride in admiring that not only am I now able to have days like this, but I am able to make it through the ? fat feeling,? and properly make it through the next day. You know why I can do this? Casey, that's why. Unlike some dietitians, Casey focuses on intuitive eating and listening to your hunger cues; she goes beyond the visible and finds reasons why you are over or under eating. In my opinion, this is why she creates true lifelong changes. She teaches that there is no bad food, and that every food type provides some sort of nourishment to your body. And while she may give you a guide, there is no stringent meal plan that may make you feel like your failing. Casey praises each step of progress and makes small goals so that you will be able to accomplish them. Casey's relationship with her clients is two-sided, meaning that it is based on teamwork and not lecture. Casey saved my life, and if you're willing to reach out, even if your a little scared, I have no doubt that she will change yours too. - San Antonio, Texas
